What is Camp P.A.R.K.?

Camp PARK is a FREE summer program that sets out to provide a chance for kids to come together and play outside with their peers. Our program allows them to practice appropriate social skills, coping skills, build positive relationships with peers and adults in the community, eat a free meal, and have fun! We run four stations:

Craft: “make it and take it” activity.

Structured Play: game that has teams and a winner/loser (P.E. Style). We purposely choose games that give kids an opportunity to lose (& win)!

Water Play: Games that involve water!! This usually consists of a water slide, water kickball, sprinkler, etc.

Free Play: “Recess” Style- playing on/with equipment!

Each station is 25 minutes. We do not force students to go to every station. However, if you do not want to participate in your group’s current station, the only station you can “move” to is Free Play. After the four rotations, Feed My Lambs provides free, delicious lunch to all students attending camp!
