With Spring just around the corner it is a good time to give a summary of the Winter Sports season. The bowling teams had a busy year. In addition to our own tournament the teams competed in tournaments in Geneseo, Oregon, Taylorville, Freeport, and Dixon. They also held dual meets with many of the area schools with bowling teams. The boys season concluded at the regional in Dixon. The girls team went to Sterling for their regional with Senior Alexis Wilson advancing to the Sectional in East Moline. 

The basketball teams were equally busy. The boys participated in tournaments at Orion and Macomb while the girls competed at tournaments at R.O.W.V.A. and Beardstown in addition to the Knoxville- A-Town Holiday Tournament. The boys ended their season with a varsity record of 24-8 and the F/S finished 17-7. The varsity were the champions of the Prairieland Conference North Division. The girls finished the season with a varsity record of 17-13 with the F/S finishing 5-3.  Sophomore Ashley Jones was selected as Honorable Mention All-State and the girls team was selected as the Hometown Hero's of the Winter Sports Season. The Winter Sports Season will conclude with the Winter Sports Banquet on March 22nd at 5 pm in the High School Cafeteria.
