We are excited to start a new student recognition program at AES. The AES Heroes program recognizes students who are: Helpful, Encouraging, Respectful, and On Task. Teachers will be asked to nominate students every other week. Those chosen will be recognized during lunch on a Friday. They will receive a certificate and backpack tag. We will also put their picture on the new AES HEROes bulletin board outside the 5th grade classroom. I’m hoping that this additional recognition of our students can increase the kindness culture in our building. My goal is to fill the board with superheroes by the end of the year!
