A big Thank you to all our VIPs that helped today with Avon Elementary Kindergarten and First Grade VIP Day! We had lots of fun playing Bingo, eating donuts, and winning door prizes! Every student had VIP with them today! Thank you to our behind the scenes help: Mrs. Carreon, Mrs. Combs, Mr. Repp, Mr. Sloan, the Cooks, Mrs. Bryan, Mrs. Craver, Ms. Harrison, Mrs. M &M, Mrs. Mahr, Mrs. Fegan, Mrs. Anderson and special appearance from Ms. Eden! Abingdon-Avon co-ops with Knox-Warren Special Ed for speech and special ed services. Two of the educators from KWSED that work with us were honored tonight as well. Congratulations Christine Unger-Mason and Stephanie Pano!
A-Town has amazing staff working with our students each day. Tonight we celebrated our Excellence in Education award winners with other districts in our region. Congratulations to Alison Darst, Sean Foster, Juliet Graf, Alexis Hart, and Rusty Steele!
Just a reminder, there is no PreK on May 8 for staff development.
The AAMS track meet for today, April 23, has been canceled and will be tomorrow at BPC at 4 pm for 6th grade only.
7th & 8th grade will have practice in Abingdon on Wednesday.
