On Friday morning, I was honored to facilitate a meeting of West-central Illinois superintendents and principals on the Macomb Campus of Western Illinois University. As President of this year's WIU Administrative Roundtable, it was my privilege to have Illinois District 93 State Representative, Norine Hammond and Interim Western Illinois University President, Dr. Martin Abraham join the thirty-plus public school and university educational leaders for an informal discussion on the topics of education, legislation, and Western Illinois University's progressive actions to increase enrollment. School leaders from as far North as Monmouth-Roseville and Peoria, as far South as Payson and Camp Point, and far East as Chandlerville, and Havana attended the informative meeting.
