FOOTBALL/BAND/CHEERLEADING GAME ATTENDANCE GUIDANCE
In order for IDPH to allow us to have fans, cheerleaders, and the band at our football games, it is essential that all guidelines are followed.
- Make sure social distancing is occurring and that only families are standing/seated within 6 feet of each other. If you are closer than 6 feet to another group, please spread yourselves out.
- Make sure you and those in your party are properly wearing their masks while in attendance. This is an IDPH requirement. Fans may be escorted out of the game if they refuse to wear their masks properly.
- School officials cannot monitor every aspect of our facilities- WE NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE AND COOPERATION SO THIS OPPORTUNITY IS NOT TAKEN AWAY FROM OUR STUDENTS.
- No fees will be charged for admission into the games.
- No concessions will be available.
- Restrooms will be available
- Children must be accompanied by an adult to enter.
- All children must remain with adults at all times.
FANS IN ATTENDANCE AT HOME GAMES
Fans will be able to attend both home and away contests, but in limited numbers. IDPH guidelines for outside activities allow attendance at 20% capacity.
Home Fans: A-Town will allow 400 home fans. The gates will open at 6:15pm.
- Home fans will enter through the northwest gate only.
- Each football player, cheerleader, and band member will be given four tickets for family/friends.
- Remaining tickets will go to the student body on a first come, first serve basis through 12:30pm Friday. After 12:30pm on Friday any remaining tickets will be available at the gate on a first come first serve basis until they are gone. One ticket per person.
Visiting Fans: 100 tickets will be issued for visiting fans for each Varsity football game to the players of the visiting team.
- These will be distributed by the visiting school.
- Visiting fans will sit on east side bleachers and will enter through the southeast gate only.
AWAY GAMES
Abingdon-Avon will be providing the away game tickets and will be distributing those to our players.
A PAPER TICKET WILL BE REQUIRED FOR YOU TO ENTER THE GATE FOR AWAY GAMES
