Miss Bush

This year we asked each new staff member to share a little of their personal history with us. We asked them where they grew-up, went to high school and college, why they became teachers, and a few questions to provide a little insight on them outside of just teaching.

Miss. Bush has joined our district from West-Central School District. She will be teaching 4th grade at Hedding.

Miss. Bush was born and raised in Galesburg. She graduated from Galesburg High School and Knox College.

According to Miss. Bush, she became a teacher because: "I've always wanted to teach. I enjoy learning new things and I enjoy passing on that curiosity and love for learning to children."

-Hobbies: I love anything arts and crafts. I knit and crochet, paint, and do embroidery.

-Favorite Band:  Country music, especially Gary Allan.

-Favorite books: Classics like Wuthering Heights.

-Favorite food: Ice cream!

-Favorite color: Teal

-A couple of interesting facts about Miss. Bush: "I love to watch and drive in demo derbies and figure 8 races. I also collect antiques, retro video games, and modern board games."

Please be sure to make Miss. Bush feel welcome in our district.
