STEM Class Stop-Motion Animation Films

STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics.  STEM projects allow students to create and build problem-solving skills in a meaningful way.  Our goal is to prepare students for a career in the 21st century workplace, so our teachers are creating more and more STEM learning opportunities for our them.

Our 7th grade STEM class has been creating Stop-Motion animation films.  These films took hours of work for our students.    Lauren Zucco is the creator of the first film.  The little girl in her video has a sneaky pet taking her treats!  Morgan Hendel is the creator of the second video in which her Stick-Bots escape the classroom and I find them playing on the stairs.  Great work girls!  Check them out!
