This morning, I was notified of the peaceful passing of Mrs. Becky Whitenack. Becky has been an employee of the school district for the past 44 years. I will always remember Becky as a kind and friendly person who loved serving others. She loved her job and she loved the students. Becky fought hard to stay on the job in the high school cafeteria as long as she was physically able. I have zero doubt that the students, staff, and kitchen colleagues kept her going every day. Becky will be missed by our current and former staff and students.
