Dear A-Town Community,
Due to a growing number of COVID Positive cases in multiple buildings (21 active positives), all district buildings will be closed for cleaning on Friday November 12th. This pause (along with Veterans Day) will allow for a four day break in positive cases at school. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Additionally, our recent addition of voluntary Test-to-Stay and voluntary SHIELD Covid-19 screening tests have accomplished their intended goal. We have been able to keep 63 students in school over the past 10 days with our optional Test-to-Stay program. We have been able to identify 6 positive cases in the last two weeks with our voluntary SHIELD screener. If you have any interest in signing your student up for our voluntary SHIELD screener, contact your building nurse. If you have any questions on our voluntary Test-to-Stay program, contact your building principal.
