Congratulations to sophomore girls golfer Addison Engstrom, our WMOI/WRAM Abingdon-Avon Tornado Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 27th!
🏌️♀️ Addison placed 15th at the Lincoln Trail Conference’s Railsplitter Championship at Midland Golf Club in Kewanee, shooting an 18-hole score of 112.
🏆 Even more impressive — that score established a NEW A-TOWN SCHOOL RECORD for girls golf!

Congratulations to senior football player Weston Shultz, this week’s A-Town Tornado Athlete of the Week!
While the Tornadoes’ offense has drawn plenty of attention during their 4-1 start, Weston has made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball.
In the Tornadoes’ win over United, Weston again led the team in tackles, recording 10 tackles, 2 sacks, and 3 tackles for loss. 💪
Weston continues to be a key contributor to the Tornadoes’ success, bringing physicality, effort, and consistency to the defense every Friday night.
