2nd graders had a special visitor today, Jerry Baker shared his knowledge of his Native American Ancestry and his family's artifacts.








4th and 5th graders went to WIU today to learn all about the Lady Leatherneck's Basketball Team.

Fifth-grade science and social studies classes are studying natural disasters. As part of their experience, students worked in groups to research types of volcanoes, choose one for a project, sketch out their plan, then build a volcano. Pictured is their progress so far. Be sure to come see your fifth-graders project during parent-teacher conferences.







The students at the Avon Campus started fundraising on November 1. All students PreK-1 and 6-8 were sent home with flyers. If you need an extra copy, please contact the office.
