Due to the heat, continual rising temperatures, and air conditioning issues the district is experiencing, Abingdon-Avon will dismiss at 11:30 today. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
ALL Hedding Grade School students will be dismissed at 11:30am due to the heat. Avon Busses will be leaving at 11:05am from Hedding and Abingdon Busses will leave at 11:30am from Hedding. Morning Pre-K will be dismissed at their regular time and all Afternoon Pre-K classes are canceled.
ALL Hedding students will eat lunch before dismissal.

Abingdon-Avon High and Hedding Grade School are having sporadic phone issues. This is due to a yet to be identified issue with Mediacom. Mediacom could not provide any estimation on how long the issue will persist. Mediacom could only confirm that they are having issues.
