Congratulations to senior football player Weston Shultz, this week’s A-Town Tornado Athlete of the Week!
While the Tornadoes’ offense has drawn plenty of attention during their 4-1 start, Weston has made his presence felt on the defensive side of the ball.
In the Tornadoes’ win over United, Weston again led the team in tackles, recording 10 tackles, 2 sacks, and 3 tackles for loss. 💪
Weston continues to be a key contributor to the Tornadoes’ success, bringing physicality, effort, and consistency to the defense every Friday night.

Mr. Frakes (Director of Activities) and Officer Schwartz (Resource Officer) recently presented a $880 check from MC Sports to members of the Abingdon American Legion Post #381 — Steve Anderson (Air Force), Stewart Powell (Navy), and Rick Quinn Sr. (Army) — representing proceeds from our 9/11 Remembrance apparel sales.
A private donation of $25 brought the initial donation to $905. The Abingdon American Legion is generously matching that amount, bringing the total donation to $1,805 for the Honor Flight! 🇺🇸✈️
A special THANK YOU to the Abingdon American Legion Post #381 for partnering with us to make our 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony such a meaningful event.
Thank you to MC Sports and Brett Dugan for the shirt designs, quick turnaround, and helping bring this vision to life.
