Abingdon-Avon Middle School

The Middle School Interact Club and the High School Key Club partnered to raise funds with a Change for Autism campaign. Together their efforts resulted in a $1000 donation to the Central Illinois Autism Association in Peoria. This association serves families in our area. This is our largest donation since we started raising funds for this project.

MS yearbook order forms are due TOMORROW, April 19th. Get them in with the $20 to the main office.

All AAMS events and practices for tonight, April 16, have been canceled.

ATOWN CUSD #276 all students will be dismissing 2 hours early today due to the incoming severe weather. AAHS will be dismissed at 1:10pm AAMS will be dismissed at 12:55pm AES will be dismissed at 1:20pm HGS will be dismissed at 1:20pm  Avon Busses will be leaving  from HGS at 1:00pm THERE IS NO AFTERNOON PRE-K

Middle school yearbook order forms are due by Friday, April 20, 2024. Yearbooks are $20.00, checks (made out to AAMS) and cash accepted! Money turned in after Friday will not be guaranteed a yearbook. Students can turn all money into the main office.

Tonight, these ATOWN boys broke the 8th Grade school record for the 4×400m relay that was set in 2015! Great job to Elias Carreon, Terrance Reffett, Dallus Markley, and Collin Jennings!

Mrs. Hayden and her class had a great time watching the eclipse!

Avon Campus students enjoyed watching the eclipse this afternoon! Thank you Mrs. Ebert, Ms. Mangieri, and Mrs. M&M for setting this up for our students.

Freshman Orientation - April 24th @ 6pm

AAMS students Collin Jennings, Josie Featherlin, Maci Brooks, and Branson Thomas attended a livestock judging competition with their teacher, Colby Trone at WIU today. The team was Reserve Champion out of 15 schools. Maci Brooks was high scorer with over 40 students in her division. Congratulations to the team on a great showing at our first competition! Congratulations to Maci for being the overall high score!
