Cheznie Engle 8th Grade Interact President and Ava Patch 8th Grade Interact Vice-President attended the Oct 16th Abingdon Rotary Club meeting. There they presented a $200 check to club President Phil Day for Polio Plus. Polio Plus is Rotary International's initiative to eradicate Polio. The club voted to add $300 to this donation to be sent to Rotary International where is will be tripled thanks to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. So the A-Town Middle School Interact Club's Polio Plus donation of $200 and the Abingdon Rotary Club $300 will become a $1500 donation. Pictured are Ava Patch, Cheznie Engle and Phil Day.

This is for the October 17th pickup date which will consist of shelf stable products. Abingdon pickups are from 4-5pm at Hedding Grade School and Avon pickups are from 1:30-2:30pm.
