The MS GBKB game on Thursday, Sept 30th will be played at Cuba Middle-Senior HS at 20325 N. State Rte. 97 in Cuba. Game starts at 6:00 pm.

Reminder - Tomorrow (Thursday, Sept 30th) is picture day for Avon Campus for both AES and AAMS.

The MS Girls Basektball home game for tonight against Lewistown has been postponed. The new game date will be posted as soon as possible.

As of today, the district has verified two COVID outbreaks that meet the IDPH criteria of at minimum of 2 linked positive cases. Outbreak number one is in 5th grade. Outbreak number two is found on Bus #2. The district, Hedding, and bus #2 will still operate daily. If you have a child that exhibits symptoms, please have them tested. We are seeing a spike in initial allergy-like symptoms that have progressed and led to COVID positive results. If you have concerns, contact your school office/nurse Monday.

Please check your email or your student's school website for information regarding the updated mask mandate that will take effect tomorrow, September 9th, for all A-Town schools.

The first cross country home meet ever is this Friday at 4:30 against Costa. Please come cheer on our cross country team! The meet will be held at the track in Avon, behind AAMS.

Cross Country is canceled for tonight. No practice on Monday. Pictures will be on Tuesday at 3:30. Bring your uniform

Congratulations to Kaydin Quinn for her 4th place finish in the 2021 Blue Bullets CC September kick-off! All A-Town runners (Mia Benge, Ali Janssen, Ben Janssen, Kaydin Quinn & Violet Rakestraw) clocked their best time for this season at today’s meet. Benge, A. Janssen, and Rakestraw also logged their all-time Personal Best times.

The baseball game for tonight, baseball practice, and cross country practice have all been canceled due to heat and impending storms.

We are looking forward to seeing our students tomorrow. As a reminder, if your child has ANY of the following symptoms: Fever (100.4°F or higher), new onset of moderate to severe headache, shortness of breath, new cough, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, new loss of sense of taste or smell, fatigue from unknown cause, muscle or body aches from unknown cause - Please keep you your student at home.
