In order to maintain the safest school environment possible, classrooms will not be having traditional Valentine’s Day parties. Thursday, February 11, students may enjoy Valentine’s themed activities and may create virtual Valentine cards to share with classmates as one of those activities. Pre-packaged Valentine snacks will be provided from our food service department. As such students may not bring candy, snacks, and/or Valentine cards from home. Parents or any outside visitors will not be allowed into the building. Also, deliveries to students of flowers, balloons, etc… will be prohibited. We will dismiss as usual at 12:30 p.m. As a reminder, Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Wednesday, February 10 and Thursday, February 11 from 4:30-7:30. All conferences will be held remotely or via phone call. If you have not signed up through Skyward Family Access, please do so and indicate via a Skyward message to the teacher if you prefer to meet via Google Meets or a phone call. There is no school on Friday, February 12 or on Monday, February 15 in observance of President’s Day. Students will return to school on Tuesday, February 16.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 5, all students should return to remote instruction. Teachers will have all assignments, instruction and remote meeting links posted on Google Classroom (or Seesaw for PK) . If you are having trouble using any of the links on your child's IPad, please follow the steps to see if the IPad needs to be reauthenticated. 1. Do a Google Search by clicking on Google Chrome. You can search for anything like "cars" or "sharks". 2. If the screen pops up when you do a search asking for your child's username and password, you need to reauthenticate. Username is: firstname.lastname@atown276.net Password is: graduation yearatown (ex. Kindergarten students use 2033atown) 3. Click on "Log in with Google". If you just click on "Log In" the Authentication will not work. As always, if you continue to have tech issues, please contact the tech help desk at techhelp@atown276.net.

Just a quick note: If your student sent in a video and it isn't in the concert, please know they were not left out on purpose. There was a lot of students to sift through and even though a check over and over it seems I have missed a couple. It makes my heart very sad and I apologize. Mrs Rakestraw
