
What a fun day at Tanner’s! 2nd grade students got to pick apples, take a wagon ride, and learn about how they make apple cider. Lots of sleeping kiddos on the bus ride home! Thank you all!🍎🍂





In Mrs. Reed's class we had some fun learning happening. . We measured pumpkins to find height and circumference, created our own playdough monsters (working on making playdough balls), hunted our library for leaves to sort and graph, and created our own name trees











Today in Mrs. Koll's 1st grade, students are working on reading with fluency in our book.







In Mrs. Delacruz's class : Our harvest unit continued this week. We focused on apples. We learned that bees help produce apples by pollination. Also, apples are all sorts of colors and sizes. We cut, examined, and ate many apples. Our favorites were red delicious and gala apples.





In Mrs. Milroy's class: Students wrapped up the Southeast region today. We celebrated by making fun Mardi Gras masks.











We are excited to see all of our PRE-K families at our first Pre-K event of this school year! Please make sure to RSVP, so we can make sure we have enough supplies for all!


4th graders have showed they can follow the expectations in the Cafeteria and were able to eat lunch outside with Ms. Nelson and Mrs. Mason. Congratulations 4th grade we are so proud of you!

We wanted to make you aware that the sinks in the boys’ restroom have recently been tampered with and some parts have been broken. We are working to repair the damage as quickly as possible so that all students have access to properly functioning facilities.
If you happen to find any sink parts or related items in your child’s backpack or clothing pockets, please return them to the school office. We appreciate your help in reinforcing the importance of taking care of our school property.

Students in Mrs. Delacruz's class are learning about Harvest the month of October. This week focused on planting seeds, growing fruits and vegetables, and identifying parts of plants. Today the class separated, cleaned, cut, and ate a variety of fruits and vegetables.







A-Town Youth Basketball for students in grades 3-6 will host sign-ups tomorrow night at the AAHS Football concessions. If you are unable to attend, but would like to sign up or get information, please call 309-368-1465.
