Just a quick note: If your student sent in a video and it isn't in the concert, please know they were not left out on purpose. Gmail interruption: Google experienced internal issues early this AM. Gmail and other G-Suite applications have been restored to to most D276 students and staff. If you are experiencing difficulties with Gmail, we appreciate your patience as Google continues to bring more accounts back on line.

Dear Parents/ Guardians We are in our final 3 days of recording for the virtual Christmas Concert.   I will take submissions until Noon on Monday December 14th.  After this point, I will stop taking new videos in order to finish editing the concert.  My Goal is to upload the concert by the end of next week.   Because of this, *** I can not take any late submissions.***  If you sent a video in please make sure I sent a message back to you saying I got it and all was ok.  If you are having issues with videos uploading to google classroom please do not wait until Monday to let me know.  I have been able to download some student videos through Facebook Messenger, but please email me and let me know to look for them there if you choose to send them that way.  **REMEMBER** all of the information on how to record including tutorial videos are on the google classroom.   The biggest thing is *****they MUST sing with the video of me in order to line up with the other students.***   (see directions on google classroom for video) Let me know ASAP if you need help.  Reminder:  This is not required and is not for a grade but the more kids we have the better it will be. The Abingdon Community Center at 801 W. Martin Street (previously the Abingdon Care Center) Cupboard is open every Monday from 9 a.m-10 a.m., Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6 p .m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for free food pick up. You can also make an appointment to shop at The Closet, where we have an abundance of free child and adult clothing and coats, by calling 309-368-2168. Please leave a message if no answer and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

LOOKING FOR OLD HEDDING CHRISTMAS CONCERT VIDEOS: As I continue to pull together a virtual Christmas concert, I find I would like to add some more content. I am looking for Christmas Concert videos from the last 4-5 years. They can be ones I directed or Mrs. Dehority. I am looking for classes that are currently in Hedding. If you have a video please send them to me through Google classroom. There is an "Assignment" in Classwork called ATTENTION PARENTS: Looking for old videos. You may also try to email them to me but I have not had much luck with that. You tube videos won't work because I will need to download them. Please know I will not be able to use every video submitted. I am looking to add 4-5 to our virtual concert.

K,1,2 will need help recording from parents/older sibling. 3,4,5 should be able to record on their own. Videos for our virtual concert are starting to come in. Just a couple things - Make sure you/ your student are singing with the video of me singing ( It is in the directions). -Use earphones if you have them -If you don't have earphones turn my video down so that it is low but you can still hear me. -Sing nice and loud and strong. Information for the "HGS Virtual Christmas Concert" is now on Google Classroom. Please make sure to watch the tutorials on how to record your student before attempting. Although this "assignment" is not mandatory or graded, the more students we have participate the better our virtual concert will be. We are starting with one song and will possibly add the second if recording goes smoothly. All videos will need to be posted to google classroom by December 13.

HGS Update: HGS has Heat & Water. HGS will offer in-person school tomorrow. Thank you for your patience. Thank you to MSI of Galesburg for putting in the hours to get the building back up and running.
