Students Light Painted by coding Spheros to spell out Merry Christmas Atown and then used a long exposure app on the iPad to capture the light. This is not as easy as it looks! It took several days with lots of hands to complete this process! #atownproud #spheroedu


The ‘T.W.I.S.T.E.R. Program at Abingdon~Avon H.S was busy painting some holiday cheer on several windows for the students, staff, families and visitors to enjoy as they enter/exit AAHS! They did a fabulous job!
The T.W.I.S.T.E.R. program is a before & after school program that offers homework help & tutoring/Open Library, as well, as fun activities/clubs & enrichment opportunities!

Abingdon-Avon High School's 21st CCLC 'T.W.I.S.T.E.R.' Program is hosting a Holiday Family Painting Night on Thursday, December 20th from 6-7:30pm in the AAHS cafeteria. ATown H.S. students and their families are invited to attend... refreshments will be served!
Cost is free, but we are asking for a free will donation of hats/gloves or non-perishable/canned food items, so that we can give to those in need this Holiday Season!

This week is Hour of Code. This is a global movement to help introduce students to computer science and computer programming. By 2020 there will be 1 million programming jobs left unfulfilled! Today we started off simple, with a drag and drop Grinch code. #atownproud #hourofcode

Students in Computer Maintenance are working towards obtaining an IT college certificate . Students must complete real life simulation as well as pass exams and then pass an lengthy exam in the Spring. Once passed, students will be CompTIA A+ certified!! #atownproud
