Schools in Illinois administer the 5 Essentials survey every other year. Students will take the survey this week during school. Parents, if you would like to share your thoughts, you can access the parent survey with this link.

In the girls game, Midwest Central defeated A-Town 70-32. Megan Teel of MC was the game MVP.


It was Rockridge over Ridgewood in game four 71-31. Devin Bush from Rockridge was the MVP WITH A game high 23 points.


Delavan defeated Knoxville 47-36 in game three of the day. Charlie Hodges of Delavan was the game MVP with 12 points.


Game two saw Galva over Havana 72-42. Mason Kaiser of Galva was the game two MVP!

Ridgewood took game one over United 67-40. Briar Greenman from Ridgewood was the game MVP with 20 points.

With the impending weather all pm practices and games are cancelled for Thursday, January 11th. The girls basketball game scheduled for this evening against Knoxville has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 23rd at Knoxville at 6 p.m.

Congratulations to the December students of the month. They were selected by faculty based on the character trait, ambition. Pictured is Grace Mannon, Emma Curry, Lukas Tinkham, Alex Day, and Nathan Hopping.


AV2 students are using Python coding skills to construct a large piano in Minecraft, which will play notes when the keys are stepped on. Students are using a Raspberry Pi to do this!
