🌪️⚾️ A SEASON TO REMEMBER. A TEAM TO BE PROUD OF. ⚾️🌪️
What a journey it has been for the A-town Middle School Boys’ Baseball Team.
After an incredible season filled with hard work, determination, and unforgettable moments, the Tornadoes capped it all with a 3rd-place finish at the IESA Class 2A State Baseball Tournament! 🥉🏆
From the first pitch of the season to the final out at State, these boys kept believing in one another, competing together, and representing A-town with tremendous pride.
And what a way to finish a HISTORIC SEASON. 💚💛
They battled their way through the postseason, earned their place among the best teams in the state, and took the field at the IESA Class 2A State Tournament in East Peoria—something these athletes, their coaches, their families, and the entire A-town community will always remember.
A special THANK YOU to Coach Burdette and Coach Darst for the time, energy, knowledge, and dedication they poured into these athletes all season long. Thank you for teaching these boys not only how to play the game, but also about teamwork, perseverance, accountability, and what it means to represent A-town.
To the parents and families — thank you for the countless hours spent at practices and games, the long drives, the early mornings, the late nights, and for cheering these boys on every step of the way. Your support made this journey possible.
A huge thank you to the A-town Transportation Department for getting our team where they needed to be throughout the season and, especially, during this incredible postseason run. We appreciate everything you do behind the scenes to make opportunities like this possible for our students.
And finally, THANK YOU to the entire A-town community. 🌪️
From filling the stands to following along from home, sharing posts, sending messages, and cheering these boys on throughout the season — your support meant so much to this team.
Congratulations to our A-town Tornadoes on an incredible season and an unforgettable trip to State!
Your names will forever be part of A-town baseball history. 🌪️⚾️💚💛
