AAMS IAR Testing Update: All students grades 5-7 will take IAR tests Monday, March 23-Friday, March 27. Due to a trip for the 8th graders that is planned on March 27, and needs a day of classroom prep beforehand, the 8th graders will test Thursday, March 19- Friday, March 20 and Monday, March 23- Wednesday March 25.

Important reminders about testing:
*Attendance and arriving on time to school are extremely important.
*Students need plenty of rest the night before testing.

8th-grade students were given permission slips to attend the Real World Field Trip on March 27th. Please return those slips by Monday, March 23rd. It is a bright green paper!
The Real World Financial Literacy Simulation and Career Exploration event is sponsored by The University of Illinois Extension and is held at CSC. Lunch will be provided!

The 8th-grade science classes applied their technical skills to complete simulations on selective breeding and natural selection. They practiced using genotypes and phenotypes to predict probable offspring. They also learned that changes in an animal's environment will maintain the organism's population, preventing it from taking over the world!

A-Town Musical Theatre is excited to present

The Little Mermaid JR.!

Join us for this fun, family-friendly production filled with music and adventure. Performances will be held March 20 and 21 at 7:00 PM and March 22 at 2:00 PM in the AAHS Stockdale Auditorium. Tickets will be available at the door, with Adults $10, Students $5, and Seniors $5. Bring the whole family and come support our talented performers as they bring this classic story to life on stage!

The pictured Interact Club students (minus 2) held 50/50 raffles at the Middle School boys basketball and girls volleyball games. The $1200.00 generated from their efforts were divided between the three food pantries that serve families in our communities. The A-Town Interact Club is honored to support the efforts of the food pantries to help the families in our communities.
