A reminder that a decision was made last night that due to the potential for extreme cold temperatures this morning, for the safety of students D276 schools will not be in session today, January 26. This is not a remote instruction day.
Today (1/18/22) District 276 has a verified outbreak in a First Grade class. Hedding Grade School will continue to operate as normal. Please monitor your student(s) for symptoms.

First day of PreK in the new classrooms.
Attention all Hedding Pre-K parents. We would like to welcome you to walk your student into the new addition to see the new classrooms when you drop your child off for their first day back to school. Pre-K parents may pick up or drop off in the half-circle drive. Please do not block the drive for other parents to drive through. Again, if you are dropping your Pre-K child off later than 8:10 a.m., you should enter through the main doors and check in at the office. Someone will then walk your child to their classroom.
As there is no school today due to hazardous road conditions, PK at Hedding will resume on Friday, January 7.

I have never been so proud of a group of kids. Your students worked so hard to put this concert together. These last 3 weeks have been a whirlwind of spirit days, classroom work, practice, and recording. The students never complained. Thank you to the parents that recorded their students at home. Thank you to the students that came in to make up recordings and record introductions for me. It has been a joy to be your student's music teacher. I am truly blessed. See you all in January!!
